Haris Abaspahić is an economist and policy advisor with extensive experience in public and international finances, investments, competitiveness, private sector development, and the green economy. He served as an advisor to the Prime Minister of the Federation B&H from 2011 to 2014, represented Bosnia and Herzegovina, and advised the Executive Director of the World Bank Group (WBG) in Washington from 2014 to 2016, and worked as a World Bank consultant supporting the Ministry of Finance of Saudi Arabia during the presidency of the G20, supporting the Infrastructure Financing Working Group in 2019 and 2020. He also held the position of a senior expert on the Green Agenda in the Western Balkans at the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). Haris Abaspahić is pursuing a Ph.D. in economics at the School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo. He holds a Master's in European Studies from the University of Bologna, Italy, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo.
